Umwelten is a photographic series that explores how as humans we construct, perceive and navigate environments on a neurological level. Objects in an environment shape and contextualize our surroundings by acting as anchors that ground us to each setting. These portraits reveal an imagined portal-view; Dropping the viewer into a new umwelt (environment) as it is being formed.
