Framed 1-of-1 Instant Film Prints

These one-of-a-kind black & white instant film prints come from my portrait series and photo book, Plastic (Mossless, 2013). Each image was shot at night in Barbados using Fuji FP-3000B film, which was sadly discontinued by Fujifilm in November, 2013. Many of these original prints were scanned and digitally colorized for the book, acting as “negatives” for the final images. I’ve paired them with select outtakes and reference shots from the same sessions that haven’t been seen before.

The poster from Plastic is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
