Ceramic sculpture, wooden pedestal, vinyl
Commissioned by Science Gallery Atlanta
10.2 x 1.5 x 11 in. (25.9 x 3.8 x 27.9 cm)

The Antagonist is a ceramic sculpture and vinyl pattern inspired by the harm reduction community work of Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University post-doctoral fellow Dr. Sarah Febres-Cordero and the neighborhood of Little Five Points, Atlanta. The installation is an ode to the 4 mg Narcan Nasal Spray device — an opioid antagonist credited with saving the lives of countless overdose victims.
